Job summary

SimonMed Imaging seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform the full spectrum of ultrasound exams—abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN across all trimesters, small parts, and vascular studies—in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

You will ensure high-quality, diagnostically complete images, maintain documentation in PACS, RIS, and EMR, and contribute to QA and continuing education while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen and/or OB/GYN or registry-eligible.
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• 1–2 years of clinical ultrasound experience (general/OB-GYN/vascular).
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid state licensure where required.
• Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Strong image optimization and multi-specialty scanning protocol knowledge.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume outpatient setting.
• Strong communication with patients, radiologists, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular exams.
• Ensure diagnostically complete images with optimal optimization.
• Review your own work for diagnostic completeness before radiologist review.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam area and adhere to protocols; adapt as needed in a high-volume environment.
• Document procedures accurately in real time in PACS, RIS and EMR.
• Participate in QA and continuing education to stay sharp.
