Job summary

SimonMed is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform a full spectrum of ultrasound exams—abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN across all trimesters, small parts, and vascular studies—with a focus on image quality and diagnostic completeness. You will work in a fast-paced outpatient setting, maintain clean exam areas, and review your work prior to radiologist review.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or applicable specialty required or registry-eligible
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• 1–2 years of clinical ultrasound experience (general, OB/GYN, and/or vascular) preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state licensure current (where required)
• Proficiency in ultrasound equipment and PACS, RIS, and EMR systems

Responsibilities

• Perform the full spectrum of ultrasound exams—abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN across all trimesters, small parts, and vascular studies, ensuring diagnostic-quality images
• Review your own work for diagnostic completeness before radiologist review
• Maintain clean, stocked exam areas and manage your own workflow in a high-volume outpatient setting
• Communicate clearly with patients, radiologists, and staff to ensure comfortable and informed exams
• Participate in QA and ongoing professional development and mentor students as needed
