Job summary

Hickory Trail Hospital, a UHS facility near Dallas, seeks an Outpatient Therapist to support PHP/IOP programs. Responsibilities include assessments, therapy sessions, discharge planning, and case management in a behavioral health setting.

A Master’s degree in social work or related field is required, with 1 year of psychiatric experience preferred and applicable licensure. CPR and CPI certifications are required or provided during orientation.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
• Experience: One (1) year in a psychiatric/behavioral health hospital setting preferred. Outpatient experience highly preferred.
• License: Must possess a state licensure: LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPC-I, LMFT.
• Additional Requirements: CPR certification and CPI (management of aggressive behavior training). These certifications will be offered during New Hire Orientation if applicant does not currently hold.

Responsibilities

• The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs, including administrative functions, utilization review, assessment, discharge planning, group/individual therapy, and case management.
