Job summary

Glen Oaks Hospital in Greenville, Texas is seeking a PHP/IOP Therapist to support adolescent and adult outpatient programs. The role includes administrative duties, utilization review, assessment, discharge planning, and delivering group and individual therapy, as well as case management.

Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related mental health field, at least three years of psychiatric care experience, and state licensure (LPC-A, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW).

Qualifications

• Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field, preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills, preferred.
• License: Program Therapist must be state certified in social work or clinical related mental health field. LPC-A, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW license required.
• Additional Requirements: CPR certification, Handle With Care and Verbal De-Escalation training within 30 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

Responsibilities

• The PHP / IOP Therapist is responsible for providing support to the day-to-day operations of the adolescent and adult Outpatient programs including, but not limited to: administrative functions, utilization review, assessment, discharge planning, group/individual therapy, case management, and other duties related to delivering successful programs.
