Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or a related field.
• Two or more years’ experience as a therapist.
• Licensure (state or national) required; CPR and de-escalation training required.

Responsibilities

• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions in treating individuals and families.
• Conduct psychosocial assessment and develop discharge plan.
• Conduct individual, group, or family sessions per treatment plan.
• Provide initial treatment planning and coordinate additional services.
• Maintain documentation per standards and revise as needed.
• Maintain a caseload and participate in treatment team meetings.
• May provide services in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Provide case management, discharge planning or after-care planning.
• Assist in educating and training staff on behavior management or crisis intervention.
• Coordinate clinical and psychosocial activities with patients and families.
