Job summary

Hickory Trail Hospital in the Dallas area seeks a Program Therapist to support inpatient and day treatment programs for children, adolescents, and adults. The role focuses on biopsychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, and family therapy to help patients reach emotional health goals.

Requires a Master’s in Social Work, 1–3 years’ psychiatric care experience, state licensure (LPC/LCSW), CPR and CPI training, and the ability to pass a competency exam. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or related clinical field.
• 1–3 years' experience in a psychiatric health care facility with group/family therapies and crisis intervention.
• Must hold state licensure: LPC, LPC-I, LCDC, LMFT, LMSW or LCSW.
• CPR and CPI training completed prior to start; pass competency exam on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with biopsychosocial needs and provide therapeutic treatment skills.
• Deliver social work services including crisis intervention, short/long-term family therapy, and referrals.
