Job summary

NFS Outpatient Therapists are needed to provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy at one of five Massachusetts locations. You’ll assess needs, create tailored treatment plans, and coordinate care with families and medical partners.

We offer flexible scheduling, W-2 employment or full-time salaried roles or fee-for-service arrangements, with supervision, CEUs, licensure assistance, and a supportive team valuing your time and expertise.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Independent Clinical License within 2 years.
• Current license in Massachusetts a plus.
• Excellent time-management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage one's own schedule with client outreach.
• Afternoon and evening availability is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy.
• Conduct intake assessments and determine appropriate levels of care.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that create real change.
• Coordinate care with families, medical providers, and community partners.
• Maintain documentation in our user-friendly EHR system.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support when necessary.

Who You Are:

• Have a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field required
• Will have Independent Clinical License within 2 years
• Current license in the state of Massachusetts a plus
• Requires excellent time-management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage one's own schedule with client outreach.
• Afternoon and evening availability is a plus!
• Able to work in one of our 5 office locations: North Andover, Dorchester, Fall River, Worcester, West Springfield
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
• Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required for FFS positions
• Access to high speed secure internet required for Full Time positions
