Qualifikationen

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
• NBSTSA CST certification upon hire (preferred).
• 1–3 years of Surgical Technician experience (preferred).

• Prepare OR for procedures; organize equipment and instruments.
• Assist surgeon as scrub person; maintain sterile field.
• Assist circulating nurse with instruments, needles, sponges.
• Operate OR machinery and verify implants.
• Assist with training and orientation of new staff.
• Transport patients to the OR when needed.
• Perform decontamination and sterilization per guidelines.
• Use computers for instrument tracking and decontamination.
