Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technologist program from an accredited school.
• Three years continuous experience in an operating room preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional staff in providing care for the operative patient before, during and after surgery.
• Scrub and circulating duties in the operating room.
• Maintain principles of asepsis, infection control and medical ethics.
• Responsible for training newly assigned personnel.
• Patient safety and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
