Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technologist program from an accredited school.
• Three years continuous experience in an operating room preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional staff in caring for operative patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Perform scrub and circulating duties in the operating room.
• Support proper instrumentation and supplies on the surgical field.
• Apply asepsis, infection control, and medical ethics principles.
• Train newly assigned personnel and ensure patient safety at all times.
