Qualifications

• RN licensed registered nurse.
• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education surrounding the procedure and peri-operative process.
• Assume responsibility for patient preparation, including intravenous therapy and preoperative medications.
• Participate in surgical site verification and adhere to universal protocols.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while applying evidence-based practices.
