Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY, seeks a Manager, Chemical Dependency Program to lead an outpatient substance use treatment program. The role oversees counselors, social workers and peers, ensuring clinical and regulatory standards are met and coordinating intake with a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires a Master's degree in a related field, 3 years of SUD experience, and relevant licensure. Full-time, daytime hours, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or related field.
• Three years experience in assessment and treatment of substance use disorders.
• Licensed as LMSW/LCSW, LMHC or Clinical Psychologist or other clinical field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of the outpatient program and ensure standards are met.
• Supervise staff and provide clinical in-service trainings and supervision.
• Liaise with OASAS, NYC DOHMH, HRA and other agencies as needed.
• Oversee intake, scheduling, evaluations and documentation for timely care.
• Develop and oversee clinical offerings to ensure high quality services.
• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings and coordinate care with psychiatry staff.
• Participate in hiring, orientation and staff development.
• Implement CQI indicators and report monthly to CQI Committee.
• Maintain staff coverage and manage attendance; handle incidents.
