Qualifications

• Associate degree required; field-related degrees or certificates acceptable.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; MAT facility experience desirable.
• Current State of Washington Substance Use Disorder Professional Certification required.
• Knowledge of ASAM assessment, intervention, and treatment principles.
• Understanding of harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and patient-centered approaches.

Responsibilities

• Manages a caseload of patients, acts as primary counselor, and facilitates treatment groups.
• Gathers protected health information to build a comprehensive client file and coordinates with clinical staff.
• Maintains clinic waiting area to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Documents session notes, progress notes, recommendations, and treatment plans.
• Coordinates patient care with other institutions and attends program meetings.
• Provides education and referrals to social services, judicial services, and medical facilities.
