Job summary

Okbhc in Washington is looking for a full-time Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) to engage with clients in a treatment course. You will collaborate closely with clients to develop individualized, strength-based treatment plans, provide counseling, and ensure adherence to treatment criteria.

A degree in Chemical Dependency and valid SUDP license are required, along with a passion for supporting individuals in their recovery journey. The position offers various benefits including paid medical insurance and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

Job description

Engage with clients to diagnose and make recommendation for a course of treatment. Develop and maintain a personized course of treatment for those living with a substance use disorder, providing assistance and accountability as indicated.

1) Collaborates with clients to develop an individual course of treatment

a) Perform assessments to determine diagnosis and level of treatment required.

b) Work with clients to develop a person centered, strength-based treatment plan that is measurable and attainable. Be able to adjust this plan based on changing situations.

c) Counsel clients in individual and group settings to assist clients in recovery.

d) Refer clients to support services as needed, such as medical assistance, social services, and employment services.

a) Clinical documentation will be completed within five business days from the service.

b) Maintain clinical charts per WAC, RCW, and agency standards.

c) Monitor clients to ensure they are following attendance criteria, attempting to engage if not, discharge appropriately

3) Community Service

a) Provide support to all stakeholders, listen to concerns and answer questions to the limit of confidentiality.

b) Provide education and information regarding substance use disorder and modalities of treatment.

c) Counsel family members of those living with a substance use disorder, providing support for the family

  • Advanced level of specific professional knowledge and formal training typically acquired through a degree in Chemical Dependency or SUD core classes.
  • Must have a current Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) license, in good standing.
  • Must have a current, valid Washington Driver's License.

Target hiring pay range is $29.47 - $30.06 per hour DOE. This is a full-time, hourly non-exempt position.
