Job summary

Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify patient guarantor information and gather necessary orders.
• Schedule and register patients based on guidelines and clinic needs.
• Collect information from patients to complete scheduling and registration.
• Identify and communicate need for schedule modifications.
• Notify staff of scheduling changes due to cancellations promptly.
• Respond to patient and staff needs within the patient care environment.
• Consult referring physicians to ensure orders exist and are complete.
• Complete work tasks daily as assigned in the scheduling area.
• Respond to patient communications in a timely manner.
• Escalate urgent needs to the appropriate area.
