• Schedule patient exams accurately across all radiology modalities.
• Provide friendly, professional service to patients, families, physicians, office staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Manage multiple phone lines while assisting callers with scheduling needs and questions.
• Gather and accurately document patient demographic, financial, and insurance information.
• Enter prescriptions, requisitions, and patient information into appropriate systems.
• Review imaging schedules daily to identify open appointments and potential scheduling errors.
• Follow up on incomplete or missing information to help ensure accurate patient records.
• Support Ultrasound operations by greeting patients, answering additional phone lines, and obtaining necessary prescriptions.
• Troubleshoot scheduling concerns and communicate issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow scheduling guidelines and clearly communicate exam requirements and restrictions.
• Help train and support new scheduling team members.
