Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care in Jersey City, NJ seeks an entry-level Professional Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 program. You will participate in assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients within the End Stage Kidney Disease care team.

You will coordinate with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians, provide education, and support quality improvement and patient outcomes within a busy outpatient dialysis setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Perform data collection and analysis during hemodialysis and document in medical records.
• Administer medications per prescription or algorithm and monitor effectiveness.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and self-care.
