Fresenius Medical Care in the United States seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. The role entails coordinated care for an assigned patient group, education, and collaboration with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and technicians during hemodialysis.

The nurse will document in patient records, adjust plans as needed, participate in team decisions, and contribute to quality improvement. RN licensure, CPR/BLS, and dialysis familiarity are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure as an RN.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.

Responsabilités

• Perform nursing care under supervision and with guidance from the Clinical Educator orPreceptor.
• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and adjust care plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and disease management.
• Coordinate with direct and ancillary staff to ensure safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy.
• Administer medications per approved protocols and document effectiveness.
• Participate in emergency response measures and quality improvement activities.
• Assist in staff training and orientation as assigned.
• Ensure proper laboratory collection, processing and shipping where required.
