Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level professional registered nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 program. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering comprehensive hemodialysis nursing care, including assessment, planning, and evaluation for a defined patient group.

You will work under supervision, with responsibilities extending to teaching, leadership, and participation in quality-improvement initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure is required.
• CPR BLS Certification is required.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.
• Entry-level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff (RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians) under supervision.
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, leadership functions, and quality improvement activities.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document justification and effectiveness.
• Engage in staff education, orientation, and cross-functional collaboration.
