Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Tallassee, AL is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the CAP program at an entry level. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 9 months RN experience; 3 months dialysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care during hemodialysis for assigned patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the care team.
• Document clinical data in the patient medical record and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with protocols; participate in emergency response when needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatment modalities and transplant options.
