Job summary

Concord Hospital Health System is seeking a Registration Supervisor to lead the registration team under the supervision of the Registration Manager. You will supervise daily activities and ensure adequate staffing, while training and evaluating staff to maintain quality patient registration.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, an Associates degree, and knowledge of patient processing software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Two years of formal training or education beyond high school (Associates Degree).
• Three to five years of related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of patient processing software, and Microsoft Office suite required.
• Experience with payroll processing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the day-to-day activities of the department.
• Responsible for day to day staff development and performance management.
• Maintains an account of staff attendance and processes payroll.
• Demonstrates a proficiency in the specific department functions and is a resource for staff in this area.
• Works closely with the billing office to create a real time payment collection process.
• Updates and resolves coding and insurance changes, disseminating those changes to staff.
• Promotes an effective work team to accomplish department goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
