Job summary

The Nemours Foundation is seeking a Patient Service Representative II to support outpatient services in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. You will greet patients, verify demographics, schedule follow-ups, collect payments, and coordinate with clinical staff to keep visits running smoothly.

This role requires strong communication, basic computer skills, HIPAA awareness, and the ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–6 months of job-related experience preferred.
• Computer/typing skills required.
• Clerical experience in a physician's office preferred; EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families at the start of outpatient visits using AIDET protocol.
• Verify demographic and insurance information and collect co-pays.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely visits.
• Maintain waiting room and work area for patient safety and cleanliness.
