Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–6 months of job-related experience preferred.
• Computer/typing skills required.
• Clerical experience in a physician's office preferred; EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate with patients and families at start of outpatient visit using AIDET protocol.
• Complete pre-visit and check-in tasks, verify demographics, insurance and referrals as needed.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and utilize iGuide when appropriate.
• Reconcile payments at end of shift and complete End of Day reports.
• Maintain clerical supplies and ensure waiting area is orderly and clean.
