Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide ambulatory care in the Downtown Medical Group Sleep and Respiratory Suite 500E in Billings, Montana. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care with close coordination with a physician-led team.

Ideal candidates have clinic or triage experience and an RN license in good standing; BLS/ACLS is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid RN license from the state licensing board is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, vital signs, chief complaint, and health risk factors; assesses disease condition.
• Provides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and laws and regulations.
• Executes prescribed treatments and medications; monitors progress and patient response; consults with physicians as needed.
• Educates patients and families about health status, maintenance, and management of conditions.
• Documents assessment and intervention data using medical records or automated systems.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and outcomes.
• Tracks quality assurance data and monitors for acute and chronic care management.
