Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Downtown Medical Group – Sleep and Respiratory Suite in Billings, MT. This part-time outpatient clinic position (30 hours weekly) supports the pulmonary team, with primary emphasis on triage, care coordination, and patient education.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, documenting, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians to provide high-quality ambulatory care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Current RN license from state board required.
• BLS or ACLS required.
• One year of clinic or acute hospital nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care following established standards and procedures.
• Obtain patient consent and maintain confidentiality.
• Document health history, vital signs, and health risk factors; assess disease condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor treatment progress; consult physicians when needed.
• Educate patients and families about health status and management of conditions.
• Document data using medical records and systems; participate in multidisciplinary teams.
