Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT seeks a part-time Registered Nurse to join the Downtown Medical Group Sleep and Respiratory Suite. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate outpatient care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

This role requires an accredited nursing program graduate, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS and at least one year of clinic or acute hospital experience. Expect a 30-hour week with Mon-Thu 7:30-4:30 and Fri 7:30-12, with a rotating day off.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• One year clinic or acute hospital nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care according to established standards.
• Obtain consent and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Document health history, chief complaint and vital signs.
• Provide care per guidelines, standards of care, and laws.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor progress; refer to physicians as needed.
• Educate patients and families on health status and self-management.
• Document assessments and interventions in the medical record or EMR.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes.
• Track quality data and monitor acute and chronic care management.
