Job summary

Eagle Crest Rapid Recovery in Houston, TX is seeking a PRN/Part Time Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join a post-acute care team. The role focuses on outpatient therapy delivered in our settings, with emphasis on mobility, fall prevention, and geriatrics as residents receive care and therapy within designated communities.

Responsibilities include screening, planning and delivering evidence-based interventions, and coordinating with care teams.

Qualifications

• PTA license is required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels; New Grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wounds; develop care plans.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment interventions per plan and regulatory standards.
• Assist with patient transfer, ambulation, and wound care as needed.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of devices.
• Provide patient and family counseling about physical conditions.
• Prepare discharge summaries in compliance with requirements.
