Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy or higher.
• Licensed in the State of South Carolina by the SC State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• CPR Certification.
• Graduate of a PT program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy to patients per physician referral.
• Assess patients across all age groups (infant to geriatric).
• Evaluate using tests and measurements (e.g., muscle testing, ROM).
• Develop and implement PT treatment plans.
• Administer treatments to relieve pain and restore function.
• Document treatment data (progress notes, evals, discharge summaries).
• Instruct patients and families in home programs.
• Supervise PT assistants as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and consult with other professionals.
