Job summary

Lexington Medical Center is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy services for a diverse patient population, from infants to seniors. You will evaluate, plan, and implement OT interventions, document progress, and educate patients and families on home programs.

The role requires SC licensure and CPR certification, with opportunities to collaborate across a wide care team in a teaching hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an OT program approved by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) or equivalent.
• Current and active Occupational Therapist license by the State of South Carolina.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy patient care upon referral by a physician or APP.
• Assess patients across age groups: infant to geriatric to determine appropriate care.
• Develop and administer OT treatment plans and interventions.
• Document treatment data, progress notes, reports and discharge summaries.
• Instruct patients and families on home programs and post-discharge plan of care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and participate in meetings.
