Job summary

ARMStaffing currently seeks a physical therapist to work in an outpatient department, delivering therapy to adults and seniors. You will assess patient needs, design individualized treatment plans, and provide interventions to improve mobility and health.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in physical therapy, Maryland state or compact licensure, and BLS certification. Strong geriatric, neurologic, and orthopedic experience is preferred, with collaboration across care teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of physical therapy experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic.
• Maryland state or compact PT license required upon submission.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with geriatric, neurologic, and orthopedic populations.
• Experience with manual therapy, dry needling, and hand therapy preferred.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and devices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer physical therapy treatments and evaluations for orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric needs.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety precautions.
• Utilize adaptive and assistive devices as needed in therapy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
