Job summary

UCSF Health in San Francisco seeks a Staff Physical Therapist (PT 2) for outpatient Rehabilitation Services. You will plan and provide comprehensive PT care for adult and geriatric patients, including evaluations, goals, and treatment plans.

Under supervision, you may mentor students and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A California PT license and DPT are required, with strong communication and organizational skills. This position requires flexibility across UCSF locations.

Qualifications

• DPT doctoral degree required.
• License as a Physical Therapist in California (CA) per state requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year of licensed practice.
• Excellent English communication, both oral and written.
• Ability to recognize signs of distress.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR and basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, problem-solving and self-initiation skills.
• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer a full range of PT services for adult and geriatric patients.
• Perform patient evaluations using PT tests and measurements; establish and implement intervention plans.
• Maintain patient records and supervise students, residents, and support staff; participate in quality and safety initiatives.
