Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Bethesda, MD, is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our therapy team in a long-term care setting. The role focuses on evaluation, therapy plans, and compassionate patient care with flexible hours (20-30 per week).

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across multiple settings including nursing facilities, hospitals, and home care to deliver high-quality outcomes and support patient independence. A current PT license is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, or license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical conditions, mobility, strength and flexibility.
• Treatment and Education: Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy and educate patients and families.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress and plans.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers and participate in team meetings.
