ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Silver Spring, MD. The outpatient role focuses on delivering quality care with adherence to safety protocols and collaboration with therapists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• CAPTE Certified.
• 2+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment goals and programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in therapeutic interventions, including strength, posture and functional skills training.
• Demonstrate and instruct patients in the use of assistive devices.
• Monitor patient responses and document progress.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment following safety policies and infection control.
• Establish professional relationships with patients, families, and staff.
• Participate in team conferences to improve patient care.
