Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. You will supervise patients and rehab staff, ensuring adherence to state practice acts and Mercy service standards.

The role requires a PT license in the practicing state and current BLS certification, with six months to one year of experience preferred. Mercy emphasizes compassionate, team-based care aligned with its mission.

Qualifications

• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
• Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.
• Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; supervise PT assistants as per State Practice Acts.
• Ensure care aligns with Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
