Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. seeks an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join a clinic-based team in Ithaca, NY. The role focuses on orthopedic and general outpatient rehabilitation, delivering evaluations and individualized treatment plans in a supportive setting.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, provide education, and participate in professional development opportunities. A DPT is required; BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred.
• Must hold or be eligible for a valid Physical Therapist license in the state at time of hire.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program is required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication and collaboration with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to deliver high-quality, compassionate care for a range of conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapies including exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education.
• Educate patients on exercise programs, posture, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive care.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to meet rehabilitation goals.
• Document plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries according to policies.
