Connectly Recruiting is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for an outpatient clinic in Ithaca, NY. The role focuses on orthopedic and general outpatient rehabilitation, supporting patients through their full recovery process.

Applicants should have a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and be eligible for a NY PT license; BLS is required within 90 days of hire. This full-time position offers day shifts and relocation assistance within a premier health organization.

Qualifications

• DPT degree from an accredited program is required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy is preferred.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Physical Therapist license in the state at time of hire.

Responsabilités

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic treatments including exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education.
• Educate patients on exercise programs, posture, and injury prevention for long-term recovery.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to provide patient-centered care.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to meet goals.
• Document plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries per policies.
