Job summary

USA Staffing Network in Ithaca, NY is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join a premier health organization's outpatient team. You will provide orthopedic and general outpatient rehabilitation, designing individualized plans and guiding patients through recovery in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
Must hold or be eligible for a valid Physical Therapist license in the state.
DPT or equivalent degree from an accredited program required.
BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Administer therapies including exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and education.
Educate patients on exercise programs, posture, and injury prevention.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team for comprehensive care.
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Document treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Provide patient education to empower rehabilitation and prevent future injuries.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment.
