Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist for a full-time, day-shift role in Ithaca, NY.

You will provide high-quality rehabilitation care in an outpatient clinic, collaborating with a diverse care team to support patients through recovery. The ideal candidate has a DPT (or equivalent) and outpatient PT experience, with strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient PT settings preferred.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Physical Therapist license in the state.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic treatments including exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education.
• Educate patients on exercise programs, posture, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive care.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to meet rehabilitation goals.
• Document plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries per policy.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and adhere to infection control guidelines.
