Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join a collaborative rehabilitation team in Cayuga, NY. This full-time position focuses on hands-on care in an outpatient clinic, delivering high-quality evaluations and individualized treatment plans.

You will work with a diverse patient population in the Finger Lakes region, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings.
• Must hold or be eligible for a valid Physical Therapist license in New York.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapies including exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and education.
• Educate patients on exercises, posture, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team for comprehensive care.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet rehabilitation goals.
• Document treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries per policies.
• Provide patient education to empower self-management.
• Maintain a clean, safe treatment environment.
