Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient services to help patients improve mobility and function. You will work under a Physical Therapist to execute and document plans of care and report progress.

The role requires an associate degree, PA/NJ PTA license, and BLS. Experience in outpatient PT is preferred. We offer a collaborative environment across campuses with opportunities for continuing education and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in PTA program
• PA/NJ PTA license required based on location
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Follow the treatment plan and adjust as needed
• Assist patients with exercises, manual therapy, modalities
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and self-care
• Monitor vital signs, pain, and response to treatment
• Record outcomes, goals, and discharge plans
• Communicate with the PT and team members
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Participate in continuing education and professional development
