Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Manager, Outpatient Procedural Services for West Allis Memorial to lead GI services, Same Day Surgery, PAT, HBO, IV infusion, and Pain Clinic teams. The role emphasizes supervisory responsibilities, budgeting, and collaboration with nursing and medical staff.

The position requires a Registered Nurse license, a Bachelor's in Nursing, and at least five years in surgical services with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Participates in departmental strategic planning and policy-making.
Maintains optimal productivity with safe and efficient staffing using clinical judgment.
Promotes communication among patients, families, hospital departments, and medical staff.
Coordinates physician needs and acts as liaison between medical staff and nursing staff.
Evaluates quality of patient care in the specialty area with unit resources and regulatory compliance.
Serves as a clinical resource contact for patients, families, nursing staff, and external agencies.
Ensures unit orientation programs meet learning needs and coordinates education for staff.
