Job summary

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, an RN license, and typically 5 years of surgical services experience, including at least 1 year of supervisory responsibility.

• Serves as a clinical resource contact for patients, families, staff and external agencies.
• Ensures unit orientation and educational programs for new staff.
• Manages supervision, resources and direction for staff development.
• Supports Shared Governance and related Nursing functions.
