Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with physical impairments to maximize function.

The role requires designing individualized treatment plans and educating patients and families on prevention and wellness. Responsibilities include performing initial evaluations, developing treatment plans, collaborating with care teams, ensuring informed consent and confidentiality, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license in PA or NJ, depending on work location.
• BLS/CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive initial evaluations and develops treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Provides skilled interventions tailored to patient needs using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Collaborates with patients to set short- and long-term goals and documents progress.
• Communicates with patients, families, and other providers with confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.
• Manages patients’ care through direct or indirect treatments and referrals as appropriate.
• Maintains accurate records of diagnosis, prognosis, plan of care and progress.
