Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school or equivalent as of graduation date.
• Maintains continuing education requirements as mandated by state professional standards.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state where you work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days if required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsabilités

• Interprets physician referrals and completes musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary evaluations.
• Establishes a plan of care and implements individualized treatment and monitors outcomes.
• Adjusts treatment based on patient response and communicates with physicians and teammates.
• Plans for discharge with home programs, family teaching, and referrals as needed.
• Documents care, progress notes, discharge summaries, and billing in accordance with policy.
• Maintains site productivity and adheres to billing and documentation timelines.
• Ensures patient safety and complies with infection control measures.
• May supervise PT assistants and rehab staff; collaborates with students as appropriate.
