Job summary

Duke Health is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician for outpatient labs across multiple locations in Durham. You will perform patient phlebotomy, prepare specimens, and ensure accurate labeling and timely delivery for diagnostic testing.

The role requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification; two years of experience preferred. Eligible for mileage reimbursement and a $2,500 commitment bonus; Monday–Friday schedules, 8-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification may be required for assignment.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Basic computer literacy and strong patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized phlebotomy procedures.
• Receive, label, and process specimens accurately.
• Maintain supplies and assist with specimen transportation.
• Use hospital information systems to enter and track orders.
