Job summary

Intermountain Health is launching a new outpatient pharmacy at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. The Pharmacy Technician will support daily operations, help establish workflows, and assist patients throughout their care journey.

You will work closely with pharmacists and technicians in a retail yet patient‑focused environment, contributing to safe dispensing, medication access, and exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license for state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepares medication orders for dispensing and performs necessary calculations.
• Ensures supervision and accuracy checks by pharmacists.
• Maintains medication supplies and controlled substance inventories.
• Communicates with caregivers and participates in quality and safety initiatives.
