Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification or license for the state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders, perform calculations, and compound as required.
• Verify controlled substance inventories and ensure security.
• Communicate with caregivers about responsibilities and safety concerns.
