Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. You will support daily inpatient operations, prepare prescriptions, coordinate medication access, and assist pharmacists and technicians in patient care experiences.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice and controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist in collecting clinical and patient information and maintaining records.
• Uses pharmacy technology to prepare medication orders and perform necessary calculations.
• Ensures supervision/verification by pharmacists for tasks and activities.
• Maintains medication supplies and monitors controlled substance inventories.
• Communicates with caregivers and participates in quality and safety initiatives.
