Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist with dispensing medications for outpatients through Medical Village Pharmacy, under pharmacist supervision.

You will ensure accuracy, maintain records, and support third‑party billing and offsite orders. Responsibilities include inventory checks, expiration control, and FIFO shelving, plus assisting with Discharge Medication Delivery Service and immunizations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or NHA certification preferred.
• BOP registration in state where work is performed.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and Rx calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing medications; ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
• Oversee inventory and expiration checks; maintain organized storage per 5S.
• Support Discharge Medication Delivery Service and offsite prescriptions.
• Handle third‑party billing processes and resolve related issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervising pharmacist.
