You will support hospice and offsite facilities, handle third-party claims, and help with Discharge Medication Delivery Service and specialty prescriptions.

The role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to maintain accurate records while complying with laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician registration with the state board where work is performed.
• Ability to sit for PTCB or NHA certification within 30 days of eligibility.
• Commits to pursuing national certification within 1 year of hire.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with dispensing medications accurately and timely.
• Support hospice, third-party billing, and offsite facilities with prescriptions.
• Monitor inventory and ensure proper stock in date using FIFO and 5S principles.
• Greet customers warmly and provide courteous service at the counter.
• Document patient information and resolve issues for accurate records.
• Assist with Discharge Medication Delivery Service and related programs.
